charlesbw writes "Brain-Works Web is a help site for gamers, graphic enthusiasts and pretty much anyone that loves doing anything constructive on the computer. We provide help with computers, software, websites, and computer applications. This site was started in late August 2006 by Ranger along with Grit- as the resident graphic Administrator. Since then many things have changed, we have new faces on the staff list and we have increased the capacity of our forums. Even if you don’t need help you can still chill out in our forums, we are just that laid back. This community is made to be very welcoming, so if you are here to raise hell be ready to get hell.

Although we claim to provide help in these areas we do not necessarily create materials in these areas. For example we might help people figure out how to use a website, create a certain setting in their computer to help it run more efficiently. We do not create content management systems (Unless announced on the site), we do not create applications to help computers run efficiently (Unless announced on the site) and so on.

Our community is always looking to grow and I will do whatever is necessary to help the site to that end. At some point our site will become a paid to post site. Where members get actual money for keeping the site active, the cash amount will be based on how much points or BW a person get. The decision to use BW or points will depend on if we need people to be active on the forums or other parts of the sites.
